After School
Welcome Amigos After-school Spanish classes offer students a fun and interactive way to learn Spanish in a relaxed, inviting setting.
The Growth Mindset
Welcome Amigos After School Spanish classes offer students a fun and interactive way to learn Spanish in a relaxed, inviting setting. Children from Kindergarten to 11 years old are placed in classes according to their age and abilities. We incorporate themes of inquiry, investigation, and children’s interests with the teacher’s guidance while establishing a natural flow of conversation and use of language. In addition, the classes emphasize age-appropriate grammar according to the student’s age skill level, and language proficiency.
Delfines Class
Ages 6 – 7
During these years, children are better able to understand the differences between languages, perception, emotion, and facts. Although they do not necessarily focus on what teachers introduce on a particular day, they retain what they hear. Not only do they see the main theme for the day but they also recall the past and speak spontaneously. They participate easily and are interested in trying new activities introduced to them.
Ages 8 – 11
This age group of children understands and applies logical operations, or principles, to interpret experiences objectively and rationally. They have the ability to learn and logically understand the basic concepts and themes. Because of their cognitive development, we teach this age group of students more abstract concepts. We emphasize not only verbal skills but also age-appropriate grammar.

Focused Education
We maintain a student-teacher ratio of 7:1 for School Age Children (Ages 6 - 11). A small class size ensures that each child receives individual attention and is introduced to new concepts when he/she is ready to learn them.
Opportunity
Children have the opportunity to experiment with real-life scenarios. We use various tools to generate dialogs with our students. And of course, all conversation and instruction are in Spanish. Overall, we want to offer children the opportunity to enjoy learning the Spanish language while experiencing multiple skills to enhance their learning, confidence, self-esteem, imagination, cognitive development, and academic abilities.
